ACTIONISTS SABOTAGE SIGNAL BOX, DISRUPT TRAFFIC AT PORT USED BY TOLL

On 10 April, actionists broke into and sabotaged signal boxes at the port of melbourne. Traffic was disrupted leading to ‘delays’ in ‘all directions’ at Dock Link Road near the entrance to Swanson Dock, west melbourne.

Swanson Dock is used to traffick weapons including bullet cases, artillery propellant, small arms propellant and bullets. These are manufactured in australia by Thales and exported to military suppliers in the US as a ‘second supply line’ for imperialist violence.

Toll Holdings is the ‘key transport partner’ of Thales and is active at the port of melbourne, where it distributes liquid fossil fuels. Toll trucks have been photographed refuelling the HMAS Arunta, an australian warship engaged in imperialist violence in the Persian Gulf including enforcing sanctions on Iraq. Toll has billion dollar contracts with the US and australian militaries, inlcuding supporting US warships that have launched missiles against children in the illegal war against Iran.

Actionists left messages of solidarity including MARG BAR AMRIKA at the scene.
